Align 101 
(Stretch + Strength)

Have you noticed what areas of your body have tightness or weakness? Align 101 powered by Stretch & Strength are essentially functional movement which makes your practice all about you. Expect to learn about your correct postural alignment - This class will work to build your mobility, flexibility and strength.

 

Align 101 is suitable for beginners, and everyone in between. These classes offer modifications so that you can customize your class to fit your specific needs and level of expertise. For those beginners who have had no previous exposure to yoga, but are eager to learn and start experiencing the amazing benefits of a yoga practice. The beginner student needs slow-paced direction and a great level of detail so they can become familiar with basic yoga poses and use of the breath movement.​

Flow

Slow Flow class focuses on moving from pose to pose and linking the movement with your breath. The flow sequence will involve 25 basic Yoga poses such as sun salutation, standing & seated postures and back bending. The class will involve repetitive asana (poses) and provide you the opportunity to refine your limited mobility, master the foundation & take your practice to the next level.

Flow+ and Align+

Flow+ & Align+ classes are designed for those who have had some exposure to yoga, including an introduction to basic yoga poses and proper alignment. The experienced beginner student would like to explore their practice and begin to become more familiar with poses and use of the breath movement.

It is recommended that you have attended Align Stretch/Strength & Slow Flow foundation classes before progressing to Flow+ or Align+.

Align Intermediate

Align Intermediate classes are designed for more experienced practitioners with a very solid understanding of basic yoga knowledge who are comfortable stepping up to the next level. The intermediate student practices yoga regularly and understands the relationship between breath and movement.
